Installation Instructions
The Attwood Cowl Ventilator is designed for easy installation with an installation hole size ranging from 3-1/4" to 3-1/2". Follow these steps to install:
- Choose the installation location on your hull and ensure the hole size is within the recommended range.
- Fasten the ventilator unit securely to the hull using the provided #8 screws.
- Attach the flexible hose flange to the 3" I.D. wire-supported ventilation hose.
- Snap the ventilator onto the flange, ensuring a tight and secure fit.
- Twist the ventilation hose into the bottom of the collector box to form a raised water barrier, preventing water ingress.
