Installation & Operation
This tachometer operates by counting pulses generated by the engine's ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. To install:
- Connect the tachometer to the +12VDC power source and Ground.
- Attach it to one of the compatible signal sources listed.
- Set the switch on the back of the gauge to select the correct pulse count per engine revolution, ensuring accurate RPM readings.
Once installed, the tachometer will provide real-time RPM monitoring and alert you to any engine faults detected by the SystemCheck indicators.
