Installation & Operation
This electronic tachometer operates by counting pulses generated by your outboard engine's ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. Installation requires connecting the tach to a +12VDC power source, ground, and one of the compatible signal outputs.
To ensure accurate readings, select the appropriate tachometer setting and configure the switch on the back panel to match the number of pulses per engine revolution specific to your engine.
