The EV Sensor Core

At the heart of the Evolution system lies the intelligent EV Sensor Core, a 9-axis sensor that meticulously monitors vessel motion across all three dimensions. Combining advanced solid-state sensors with the Evolution autopilot processor, the EV Sensor Core is housed in a single, easy-to-install unit.

Designed for flexibility, the EV Sensor Core can be mounted above or below decks. Its rugged enclosure meets IPX6 and IPX7 waterproofing and submersion standards, ensuring durability in harsh marine environments.

The EV-1 is compatible with Evolution mechanical and hydraulic autopilot systems. SeaTalk^ng networking allows for a single cable connection for power and data to the Evolution ACU (Actuator Control Unit) and extends to SeaTalk^ng and NMEA2000 networks.
