Installation & Setup

Installing the RSW Wired Smart Performance Wind Transducer is straightforward. The package includes all necessary mounting hardware, such as self-tapping screws for both the wind transducer and the wired gateway. Follow these simple steps to get started:

1. Mount the wind transducer at the masthead using the provided No.10 x 3/4" self-tapping screws.
2. Secure the wired gateway to a suitable location below deck with the No.7 x 3/4" self-tapping screws.
3. Connect the mast cable to the transducer and route it to the gateway.
4. Ensure proper insulation using the included heat shrink tube if shortening the mast cable is necessary.
5. Use the ring crimp terminal for an additional ground connection if the gateway is not mounted on a metal surface.
