Installation
The tachometer operates by counting pulses generated by your engine's ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or a magnetic pickup sender. To install, connect the tachometer to a +12VDC power source, ground, and your chosen signal source. Be sure to set the switch on the back of the tachometer to the appropriate position that corresponds to the number of pulses per engine revolution, ensuring accurate RPM readings. The 4" gauge fits a standard hole size of 3.375" (85mm).
